Upcoming Education Fairs in Surabaya

A couple education fairs will be held in Surabaya this month.  The EduCanada Fair will be held at the Sheraton Hotel from 1-6 PM on February 10.  Six of the schools will visit SIS on February 9 from 9-12 in conjunction with our Festival of Nations celebration.  Canadian universities making the trip to SIS on February 9 will be University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Seneca College, Humber College, Vancouver Film School, and La Salle College.  The SIS Model United Nations team recently competed in an MUN competition in Vancouver and visited the campuses of University of  British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.

Education USA Fair on February 22

The Education USA Fair will be held February 22 at the Bumi Hotel.  SIS will be taking the grade 10 and grade 11 students to attend the fair.  Kevin Godi and Theresia Chrisanthia, two SIS grade 10 students, have volunteered to act as interpreters for the fair.  I am sure they will represent the school well.  Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend both of these fairs.

I encourage students and parents to explore summer educational enrichment opportunities since some of the programs fill up before their deadlines.  I have an extensive list of summer program options in the SIS College Handbook.
