I am pleased to announce that the board has decided that current tuition levels will remain unchanged for K-12 for the 2019-2020 school year. We will be sending home a returning student survey within the next week. It will be due by March 1 with a 10.000.000 IDR non-refundable deposit to hold your seat for next year. This money will be deducted from your 2019-2020 tuition invoice. We have been able to avoid tuition increases by growing our student numbers. We are reaching full capacity in many grades with waiting lists in others. In order to ensure that we fill our seats, we have implemented this new deposit policy. SIS will call you before giving your child’s place to a new person.

There has been a change in our calendar in April. Due to the April 17th national election, SIS will have full teaching days on April 15 and April 16. Student Led Conferences will be after school into the evening on these days. SIS will then be closed from April 17-April 21. We will reopen on April 22. Student Led Conferences are an important event each year and we hope all parents and students will attend. This change preserves our number of teaching days and hours and also gives a nice long weekend for our community to enjoy.

The PTA has scheduled a Lion Dance on Friday, 8 February at 1:00 PM in the gym. Everyone is welcome to join. We have hong bao envelopes for our students to show their appreciation to the performers.
