Fostering Independence: Daily Routines for Elementary Students

Elementary students are well versed in the routines and procedures that help create the structure of their day.  Students have opportunities to show their independence from the moment they arrive on campus.  It is great to see ES students being responsible as they carry their own backpacks, unpack their school bags, and put their materials in the designated spaces.  Many thanks to our parents and caregivers who provide opportunities for our students to develop their independence and show responsibility at school!

Uniting the School: House Events and House T-Shirts

On Friday, 20 September, the whole school will gather in the gymnasium at 1:45 for our first House Event of the year.  Students are encouraged to wear their house colors.  House t-shirts continue to be available for purchase.  Stop by Ms. Suci’s desk if you would like a house t-shirt for yourself or your child.

Uniting the School: House Events and House T-Shirts

On Wednesday, 25 September, parents are invited to attend our second PYP Coffee Morning.  For this session we will be exploring what it means to live the learner profile.  We will begin promptly at 8:15 in the library.  I hope to see you there.

Finally, on Friday, 27 September the elementary school will gather in the Little Theatre for our monthly assembly.  Please join as we celebrate the learning happening in Grade 5 and Kindergarten, as well as around the school.
