ASA
We had a successful first term for our ASA program. Our students participated in different activities that kept them engaged and learning even after school hours. It was rewarding to see students having fun in their respective ASAs.
This past week (November 26 – November 30) students had a one break from the ASAs to give way for preparations for the second term. The sign up for the 2nd term started on November 29 at 6:00 pm and will close on December 2 at 6:00 pm. There are new and exciting ASAs offered by SIS teachers as well as non-SIS teachers. The list of the new set of ASAs has been posted on the SIS website.

Basketball
Basketball season has started and our Boys and Girls varsity basketball teams are in the midst of intense training. They will have their first friendly game on December 6 at 4:00 pm. Please come and support them!
We would like to thank Mr. Ariail and Mr. Wiest for coaching the Boys Basketball team this season. Thank you to Mr. Jing Li for helping out the boys’ team during the first week of training. Dr. George Santiago will remain as the head coach for the Girls Basketball team this season.
Swimming
SIS hosts another swim meet this coming Saturday, December 1, 2018 beginning at 8:00. Swimmers from SES, STS, Sekolah Ciputra, and Wesley School will be present to compete in a friendly setting. This is going to be another exciting event for our school and a great opportunity for the SIS Cobras to improve their skills as they compete with the best swimmers from other school.
